Event: Blues on the Green
Blues on the Green is a summer concert series here in Austin put on by 107.1 KGSR, and other vendors including a group I’m a part of called Etsy Austin. I will be there tomorrow in Waterloo park at the Etsy Austin Booth. I will be selling my greeting cards and some art. I hope to see you out there! Carolyn Wonderland will be on stage…and did I mention that it’s free?! The show starts at 7:30 Wednesday.

Front Porch Art
While getting ready for Mark’s Birthday Party this weekend I decided to make some sunshine for our front porch, my neighbor Carolyn helped (thanks Carolyn!). Thank you to everyone who came out to the party! We had a blast.

Thursday: Sanctuary’s One Year Anniversary
Austin has such wonderful locally-owned gift shops that sell local handmade goods. Sanctuary is one of those boutiques, and they just won “Best Decor Boutique” and “Best Gifts” at the Austin Fashion Awards. I’ve been looking forward to their one-year anniversary party, and it is tonight! Local design team Studio 3 will be doing live screen printing. You will also find some Etsy Austin goods at Sanctuary!

I have been obsessed with the Hello Sandwich blog for the past couple weeks, today she introduced me to the mysterious letter project, where a couple of artists sent handwritten letters to an entire town.

Jenny and Siet’s Wedding
Last weekend I went to Denver for Jenny and Siet’s wedding. I finally got a chance to upload the photos I got, and unfortunately most of them are super blurry. I had such a blast at the wedding, which was so intimate and special. I didn’t really start taking photos until the dancing began, and by then the tequila had kicked in. Check out some highlights:
